Republic Day Celebration in the School

Mahi was a young girl who lived in a small village nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. She attended a school in the village, and every year, they celebrated India’s Republic Day with great enthusiasm. This year was no different, and Mahi was excited to be a part of the celebration.

On the morning of the celebration, Mahi woke up early, dressed in her best clothes, and set off for school. When she arrived, she saw that the school grounds had been decorated with flags and banners, and there was a festive atmosphere in the air.

The program began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by patriotic songs and speeches given by students and teachers. Mahi and her classmates had been preparing for this day for weeks, and they performed a dance routine to one of the patriotic songs. They also had a skit about the importance of unity and diversity in the country.

After the performances, there were a variety of games and activities organized for the students. Mahi enjoyed taking part in the games and even won a prize for one of them. The school also organized a parade where students dressed in traditional Indian attire and carrying banners and flags marched through the village, promoting the spirit of national unity and pride.

The celebration ended with the distribution of sweets and refreshments among the students, teachers and the village community who had joined in the celebration. Mahi was happy to have been a part of the celebration and felt proud of her country.
